NAOKO YAGI

Tree Peony

In this sensitive study, Naoko applied her paint to a faint drawing of the flower, allowing the pencil to show through. A captivating composition and an exquisite painting.

Tulip

Another delightful play of tulips!

Delphinium

A classical composition, cut to show the height of the flower stalk.

Iris

I managed to get a photo of this iris painting before it was finished. Naoko wants to deepen the colours in the bloom, but I was captivated by the elegance of the leaves.
